Meet Bontisha Rose Photography

My partner Chris and I have been in business for about 3 years now. We started shooting Fashion/Fine Art photography. A friend of ours asked that we shoot their wedding. While preparing for the event, we knew we wanted to capture their true energy as a couple as well as give them something different from the typical wedding day photos. It was such a great experience and to our surprise we became hooked.

Our style of photography is a fusion of Fine Art and photo journalistic style. I don't feel a couple should ever have to compromise between the two. For us telling the story using a photo-journalistic approach is a given for every wedding day. Photojournalism is not really a single style but serves as a part to a whole. I think there are a lot of things that sets us apart from the pack :) .

We use our engagement session as a training session for our couples. If you think about it. Most people haven't been trained to take a photograph. With our engagement sessions we go the extra mile to teach our client's confidence in front of the camera. These lessons are timeless and add to the connection between client and photographer. I feel a true connection serves to be priceless especially on the day of the wedding. We believe it is important to get to know our clients personal story of love. Each couples individual story inspires us creatively and we work together to fuse a fine art vision into beautiful posed shots . Thus the fusion of Fine art and photojournalist style. I think this fusion also plays a large part in what sets us apart from other photographers.
